Island BioBlitz would not be possible to organise without the support of a large number of individuals and organisations. The National Biodiversity Data Centre is extremely grateful to the island communities for inviting Island BioBlitz to their beautiful islands and allowing us to share in their unique natural and cultural heritage. We hope that Island BioBlitz will reciprocate by helping to enrich the island communities in different ways.

All of the survey team members are giving of their time and expertise freely, making Island BioBlitz a huge voluntary effort. We hope that this voluntary effort is rewarded with finding many an unusual species, perhaps even a new one that could be named after you!
